Today, President Trump is signing the Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act of 2017 to ensure our heroes have the great, timely care they deserve.

President Trump visits US Customs and Border Protection Facility
Yesterday, President Trump traveled to Arizona, to see first-hand the people and tools restoring law and order to our southern border. He met with USCBP personnel and saw the state-of-the-art equipment used to secure our border at the main base of operations for the USBP’s Yuma Sector. Watch the video

Delivering Results for the American People
President Trump instituted tough immigration policies that have reduced illegal border crossings over the southwest border by 47 percent compared to the same period last year. And so far in fiscal year 2017, ICE has removed over 2,700 criminal gang members, compared to 2,057 criminal gang members in all of fiscal year 2016. Read more

Acting DHS Secretary Elaine Duke writes that the USCBP facility in Yuma, Arizona, “serves as a prime example of how investments in personnel, technology and a border wall can turn the tide against a flood of illegal immigration and secure our homeland.” Read more

POTUS and VP TODAY

Today, President Trump is in Reno, Nevada. He will give remarks to the National Convention of the American Legion this afternoon and then sign the Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act. Watch live at 2pm EST
Vice President Pence is in Miami, Florida, to meet with United States Southern Command service members. Later, the Vice President will participate in a listening session with Venezuelan exiles, activists, and community leaders and deliver remarks to the community.
