President Donald J. Trump continues to ensure that our Nation’s veterans are a priority in his administration. Yesterday, the President made that clear in his remarks to another great ally of veterans – the American Legion. He also signed a bill to ensure that veterans, our Nation’s heroes, have great and timely care.

Yesterday, President Trump signed the Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act of 2017. This legislation will streamline the lengthy process that veterans undergo when appealing their claims for disability benefits with the Veterans Administration. More than 470,000 veterans are still waiting for decisions regarding their appeals. Read more
